Elise is a Seattle-born actor who fell in love with musical theatre in middle school and hasn’t been able to stay away since. Elise moved to central Virginia, where she will graduate in May 2024 with her BFA in Acting from Liberty University. While in the BFA program, Elise performed in seven productions (ranging from straight plays and Shakespeare to various musicals) and choreographed one musical. Elise additionally performed in new work lab shows and choreography showcases both as a choreographer and a dancer.

 

Elise’s BFA in Acting training includes the theories of Stanislavsky, Meisner, Lugering, Chekhov, Adler, Hagen, and Alexander. Elise maintains a robust musical background, having learned to play the piano before she learned to read! She is competent in music theory and music reading. Elise is formally trained in ballet and jazz at The British Dance Academy and has advanced her dance training through a multitude of dance classes and experiences at Liberty University.

 

Elise will also graduate with a second degree - her Bachelor of Science in Religion - in May 2024. In her free time, she conducts research and writes papers for fun, eagerly devouring history, theology, philosophy, and geography in her reading and writing. Elise is trained and has worked for two years in editing and writing coaching. At 6am, Elise can be found exploring her body’s limits through weightlifting, sprinting, long-distance running, Pilates, plyometrics, and swimming. Her heart can be won through 72% cacao chocolate and books with pages that smell like home.
